All Along The Watchtower | Playing For Change | Song Around The World

There must be some kind of way out of here, said the joker to the thief, There’s too much confusion, I can’t get no relief. Businessmen, they drink my wine plowmen dig my earth, None of them along the line know what any of it is worth. No reason to get excited, the thief, he kindly spoke, There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke. But you and I, we’ve been through that, and this is not our fate, So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late. All along the watchtower, princes kept the view While all the women came and went, barefoot servants, too. Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl, Two riders were approaching, the wind began to howl. [music and vocalizing]

Wow! Just beautiful! Bob should be proud and Jimi would be too if he were still alive. Wonderful use of our Technology and a nice surprise with John Densmore on drums. I luv how this went down. The Lakota People looked wonderful in their costumes.

Music is the One Language that surpasses all others. This has brought joy into my heart today. Thank you all for your gifts, you were all fantastic and the little African Boy at the end was just so right on. This project is going to help our mental states and hopefully bring us all a little closer as creative Human Beings. No more War, Oppression and Hate!

When I first heard Jimi's version on a little kitchen radio, chills just went up and down my spine and I stood there, transfixed and amazed at what Jimi had done to this song. Today, I felt the same feeling Thank you all!!!

Peoplekind people aren't kind. Music is all about money now too . Music isn't going to change a thing . Too many pedophiles on top of every industry. Musicians hang out with Hollywood types all fake phony people . Left loosie is only good for taking things apart.

  24. Know One says:

"If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen with music."
That is about the most egotistical statement I've ever heard from a musician. If you want change, unfortunately, the ONLY way it can happen is through politics. And when all of your politicians are corrupt, power-hungry, greed-driven assholes AND you refuse to take a chance voting against them because they're from "your" party, then change becomes impossible. Greed and corruption are the primary basis for just about every problem humanity faces and it knows no party bounds. Add to that ignorance, lack of any REAL education, and basic human cowardice and laziness, then the one thing you can count on is that the rich will continue to get richer and things will continue to get worse for everyone else. Take back control of our government (USA) by joining the V.O.T.E.R. movement. "Vote Out The Established Regime". Vote AGAINST every incumbent, regardless of their party affiliation. If they've been in office more than one or two terms, they've been in office too long. Stop being loyal to partisan politicians who are ONLY loyal to their big money campaign financiers and wealthy friends that give them access to yachts, vacations on child-sex-ring islands, etc. Vote Out The Establishment. V.O.T.E.

And nothing ever changes because of virtue signaling people playing a some dopey song! My favorite Einstein quote : For something to change, something has to move! Change something in your neighborhood, your street, your town , that is concrete! Making yourself feel good is bullshit, contribute to a food bank, more your neighbor’s lawn, look in on elderly friends, that means something and the only person who will know is the person you helped! No feel good points from Facebook trolls
