Daily Holiday – National Static Electricity Day

It’s time for our Daily Holiday this morning. Daily Holiday National Static Electricity Day ‘Static electricity’ is an imbalance between negative and positive charges in objects. it’s usually caused by friction. because when objects rub against each other. they can transfer charges. resulting in imbalances. We see it every day. Some examples: – if you rub your foot on the carpet, your body collects extra electrons negative charges. You may get a shock by touching another object. that little ‘zap’ is the extra electrons being released from your body. and onto that object. – if you rub a balloon against your clothing. you are adding electrons to the balloon. that’s why the balloon will then stick to the wall. because opposites attract. and the wall is more positively charged than the balloon. And now it’s time for a check on our weather forecast.
