I love musicals and Percy Jackson but I just can’t. Also as a Percy Jackson fan no offense Beth but instead of just saying that he realizes he has powers you should have said that he learns that he is a demigod. Personally also I feel like Magnus Chase would’ve worked better as a musical than Percy Jackson does, but also haven’t actually listened to the soundtrack yet so I shouldn’t hate on it yet really.

Edit: I just realized Beth was reading the press summary of it so I’m sorry that mentioned her saying something wrong. I just don’t like how the press summary worded it.

The cast of the Lightning Thief is the most amazing and talented group of young people I have ever met! I am so proud of this ensemble and how they finally brought this great production and amazing interpretation of my favorite YA series to the Great White Way. Welcome home, Half-Bloods!

    Dear Broadway.com,
I did this once before on instagram but I'm willing to tell this again. No it's not the act of begging but it would be amazing if this musical has their own vlog too. That would be very much appreciated. Honestly, this show changed my life (well not really but) it made me read the original book by Rick Riordan and not gonna lie, the musical was way better than the movies (based on only listening to the Original Cast Recording but what more if someone has seen it live? Maybe it is even better that way) and I actually ended up reading the whole PJO series thanks to this musical (and a friend for that too–) and I did ended up reading the sequel too and the rest (though I'm still on the process on reading so yeah it's taking awhile). I may not be here because of the musical adaptation and Percy Jackson wasn't exactly part of my childhood but this musical is everything and they really deserve to be on broadway despite their short run. I got side tracked, whoops. But again, it'd be nice to see a vlog. Probably you'll send a sign that it should exist or probably not. I am not begging for it but I would love to see the impossible. (If that even makes sense lol!)

    – Sincerely, Me (okay maybe this is a Dear Evan Hansen Reference but I don't care–)
